A little walkthrough how the balcony was made. I swear I'll make a proper step-by-step with descriptions for some of the future pieces, totally out of time now.
Very briefly: it's all not as hard as it seems, just go grab proper references and study them carefully and make sure to get some lovely texture brushes. The principle is quite easy - block in the base with the darkest color and then make your way further by adding lighter shades with texture brushes on top of it. After you study some references you'll get the principle of what kind of textures certain architectural objects have.
I highly recommend these two divine brush sets by ~tonyhurst [link] and [link] The balcony was made using those purely.
