To tell the truth I guess this one was my most favourite download screen in the game. We were playing Legend with my cousin and when this screen appeared we simultaneously dropped our jaws and were like that - Moreover I wanted to try working with splashes, drops and all that rain stuff. It took a lot of time, but nevertheless was really fun.
Ah, I took few screenshots myself to make sure everything is just what I need. I have all TR parts installed, so a screenshot is not a problem. As for the brushes, google Ron's brushes. Those are epic, he has all kinds of stuff like rain effects, snow of all kinds, waterfalls. Smth. that is perfect for photomanipulations, but would be considered almost cheating for a painting. So if you're just toying with XNA now just find those brushes, you'll have a lot of fun. But for your personal pieces try painting everything yourself, you'll learn a ton of things and will improve much faster than just stamping photobrushes.
thank you! I might have to check out his brushes i like playing with brushes. as for painting I would love to paint my own stuff but i got to save up for a good tablet first lol all i have is my mouse loool
Oh, you don't need an expensive tablet just yet. I mean basically a tablet doesn't make you a good artist or bad artist, it's just a tool, you are the heart of your work and your skill and knowledge is the only thing that matters. My first tablet (and I'm still using it right now) is Wacom Bamboo. Bamboo series is really affordable, not expensive at all. I'm thinking now buying Intuos just because I'm curious about it and it has better pressure sensitivity and some cool design perks. But really, I've been using my darling Bamboo for years, totally in love with it, it serves me perfectly and all the paintings you see in my gallery were made with it. So if you really want to get into digital painting and you just need an affordable tablet you should totally go for Wacom Bamboo - awesome and affordable.
anyways thank you so much for recommending a tablet for me. Since I'm very new to the digital painting world I wouldnt know what tablet to buy. I will check those out! Oh I know a tablet wont make me an awesome artist like I wish x] but everytime I make stuff I'm always looking for improvements or something better. Like I'm never satisfied with my work and always want to add something more if that makes sense. LOL so after doing some 3D pictures I thought ''hey why dont I learn to paint too!'' haha. But I'll definitely check out my local walmart or best buy for the wacom bamboo! It seems to be very compatible with photoshop too. So thanks!! D
How did that thing even get IN there? And also, how dafuq was Arthur supposed to GET OUT of that nightmare of a tomb when he's destined to wake up? Oil lake, hot coals, PERSON-SIZED GARBAGE DISPOSAL?! It was only my fave because of the guy! I went in there when I needed to just stare at Arthur for a bit.
Haha, well, all TR levels are absolutely illogical, but so much fun. The thing that made me laugh the most is when you get to the wreck of the long sunken ship in TR 2 and it turns out to be crowded with mercenaries. The only question I had is - how the hell did you get in here, guys?
The first level of Underworld? Ooooh, the octopus made me jump, really. That level had no enemies at all once you enter that construction and everything is quite and then kabooom, the giant octopus appears. Never knew that the building itself had Viking's head shape. Wow
That game was several levels of flat out CREEP-FEST when those thralls. Every time I see one, I can barely imagine the smell. I smelled starfish when I cut one open in marine biology. Not pleasant.
Next time you're in the level, swim all around it, the back away, look at the sonar map and point it at the building's front. And WHY did the inventors of the Jormungand mechanism build the thing? I'd imagine that the only real reason one would turn it on is in case of Flood (not the water, the other kind.)
